Masters Degree Description

Available as a one year master's or a two year master's with professional practice.

Every organisation, from small Social Enterprises to Global Multinationals with thousands of employees must manage its supply chain and business operations. Glasgow Caledonian University's Glasgow School for Business and Society has developed this master's to meet this demand. The course is informed by research, sector professionals and professional bodies. It is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).

This course focuses on producing employable, responsible graduates, who are able to contribute effectively from the start of their employment. A unique aspect of the course is that students can achieve Lean Yellow Belt and Carbon literacy certification as part of the course.

You will join with students from different cultures and backgrounds to develop international awareness of managing business operations and supply chains. As part of the course, you'll work on a live case study and present your solutions to the ‘client’. Simulations and case studies will be used to help gain experience and key employability skills. Contributions from leading commentators, scholars and researchers of operations and supply chain management will help provide an understanding of theories and practice from around the globe.
