Please note: this course is intended for those who already teach and/or support learning in a Higher Education setting. It is not Initial Teacher Training and does not lead to Qualified Teacher Status, but it can lead to HEA Fellowship. There may be additional fees for AdvanceHE fellowship award (currently this does not apply to students from BU, the NHS, MoD and AUB). 

Entry Requirements

The normal requirements for embarking upon a postgraduate taught degree are:

  • A Bachelors Honours degree with 2:1 in any subject
  • Applicants should be teaching in a practice or academic setting
  • Applicants who do not meet our standard academic entry requirements may be offered an interview to discuss their suitability for the course.
