Masters Degree Description

Our Business Analytics (MSc) programme allows you to develop a range of practical in-demand skills for extracting and handling ‘big data’, with a specific focus on the application of data analytics for decision-making in real-life business contexts.

You’ll learn from experts in Cardiff Business School and the School of Mathematics who specialise in various applications of data science, operational research and analytics across a range of manufacturing and service industries, discovering and communicating meaningful patterns from the data, and applying analytical tools to help private and public sector businesses make better strategic and operational decisions.

You’ll work with advanced software and core business and mathematical theory and practice, preparing you for employment and ensuring your success in an interconnected, diverse and rapidly evolving global business arena. The programme provides excellent grounding for careers in a range of analytics, data management and consultancy roles.
