Gain the expertise needed for professional work in the translation industry, focused on translating audiovisual programmes. The Translation and Technology (Audiovisual) MSc will enable you to develop your translation and language skills, while learning industry-standard translation technology. Taught at UCL, you’ll learn from specialists in different aspects of the translation workflow and develop your understanding of media accessibility too.
A high upper second-class Bachelor's degree (average 65% and above), or a BA/BSc (any result) plus a minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in the translation industry, or an MA/MSc (any result), or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard. Students should only translate out of a language in which they have an advanced level and translate into a language in which they have native proficiency (language combinations subject to availability).
