Masters Degree Description
Our Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) accredited course will provide you with comprehensive training and practical experience for a rewarding career in urban and suburban planning. Gain an MSc in Town Planning, while you work, with fees funded by your employer and the Government.
Entry Requirements
You will need:
- Applicants to this course will generally be expected to be employed within planning, in order to be able to access degree apprenticeship funding
- A first degree at second class honours (2:2) or above in a subject that is related to the field of town planning.
It should incorporate study elements of some of space, environment, design social/urban analysis and public policy. Examples of subjects that are considered to be relevant are: Environmental Studies, Architecture, Urban Studies, Geography, Economics, Politics and Surveying
- Evidence of GCSE Level 2 Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above.
- If English is not your first language, you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated list of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 or above
In exceptional circumstances, substantial and appropriate experience will be considered. You will need to evidence an ability to cope with an intensive academic programme and you must still be able to evidence GCSE Level 2 Maths and English.
